Remember the plans for a pizzeria and wine bar at 384 Huger St.? First announced in February of 2016, the upcoming eatery is the work of Erik Hutson and Nayda Freire, the couple who revamped Faculty Lounge over two years ago. Back in 2016, they were renovating the interiors of space and planned to open their pizza/wine bar near the end of 2016. While there has been a slight delay, Freire says they are still on.

“Got some exciting news on the 384 project,” she writes, “We're working hard to complete the project by mid-year, hopefully before summer, and are currently building out the interior. Concept remains the same, neighborhood pizzeria and wine bar, but we have a name now: Renzo.” Hutson provided a rendering of the space, which includes a large bar seating area, a wood-fired over, and what appears to be a penguin near a fruit bowl.

Once Renzo opens, it will serve six days a week, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Freire promises more details as they are available.
