Former executive sous chef of Husk Greg McPhee will open a new restaurant in Greenville, South Carolina. The latest addition to the Village of West Greenville, opening on January 17, will be The Anchorage. The cuisine is described as an “affordably priced small plate menu including vegetarian, gluten free, and dinner for two options.” Menu items range from pappardelle with lamb sausage and botarga to a beet salad with benne seed puree. McPhee will highlight local products like seasonal produce and meats. Bread, charcuterie, and even ice cream will be made in house.

The Anchorage seats 70 patrons inside. Upstairs features a large bar and a rooftop terrace that will open in the spring. The kitchen is open and features a wood-burning Argentine grill.

The restaurant sits at 586 Perry Ave., Greenville. The Anchorage will offer dinner service Tuesday through Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday through Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
