Froyo is out and “health conscious and fast casual” is in as Beech opens the doors at 315 King St. today. The independently owned, family-run business wants to offer lighter options for breakfast, lunch, and early dinner to the surrounding communities.
Beech is in soft opening mode right now, and co-owner Keegan Bird says that they are getting all the systems in place for smoothies, juice, wraps, and bagels before bringing poke to the menu. Bird tells Eater that by the grand opening, Beech should be offering tuna and salmon poke bowls. Beech also serves Black Tap coffee and One Love kombucha.
There are several communal tables in the space, a few cozy chairs facing the front window, and most important — wifi.
The new eatery opens Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. See below for the entire soft opening menu.
