It’s finally time to see what the “most intense food” Sean Brock has ever created will be all about with the unfurling of the updated McCrady’s (or McCrady’s 2.0) on September 29. Brock announced on Instagram: “Excited to announce that tickets for the reborn @mccradys are now available. Please go to our website and follow the instructions. This has been 10 years in the making. Hope to see you soon!!!!”
Tickets for a seating, at $125 a piece with additional beverage pairings for $85, are offered through ticketing system platform Tock. This allows for up-front payment for the multi-course tasting menu. Nick Kokonas — the Chicago restaurateur behind Alinea, Next, and the Aviary — launched the ticket system in 2015, but this is the first Charleston restaurant to try it out.
