What would dim sum tastes like coming from a McCrady's-trained chef? That's just what Daniel Heinze wants to bring to provisions shop The Daily on August 12 and 13 (Friday and Saturday). Heinze recently departed from fine dining institution McCrady's to take the next step in his career and has some time for a few pop-ups. He hasn't released the details of what he's doing next in his career, but before taking off from Charleston, he wants to leave fans with dim sum and dumplings.
The evening (from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.) will also feature cocktails for head McCrady's bartender Bethany Kocak.
Tickets aren't required for the evening, and it is first come, first serve. If these evenings are anything like the other pop-ups hosted by The Daily, like the recent Short Grain ramen nights, it might get a little wild (and crowded, so go early).
