Shroom Party and Izakaya Style in NoMo This Weekend

NOMO — On Friday, August 26, GrowFood Carolina will host a Mushroom Gathering to honor the change in state guidelines to allow the resale of foraged mushrooms. Attend to sample fungi dishes from chefs Ennio Vazquez (Blu Restaurant), Chelsey Conrad (Butcher & Bee), Travis Grimes (Husk), Jared Rogers (upcoming Pawpaw), Greg Garrison (Prohibition), Russ Moore (Slightly North of Broad), Vandy Vanderwarker (The Ordinary), Robert Stehling (Hominy Grill), and Damon Wise and David Schuttenberg (Scarecrow and Co.). NOMO — Ramen pop-up 2 Nixons and NoMo darling Spero are teaming up on Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27 for a collaborative dinner.
