If you're in town for boozy festival BevCon, then you obviously have plans to consume as much Holy City libations as possible, but you should also maybe eat something. In between tasting sessions and learning experiences, you may want to venture out, so Eater is here to point out the various guides to eating, drinking, and partying during the event.

If you're in town early, check out the Eater Heatmap for the hottest restaurants in Charleston or the Eater 38 for the essentials. Having trouble deciding? Follow Eater critic Bill Addison's off-the-beaten-path choices. Want more? Check out the ultimate guide to everything Lowcountry.

Once 4:00 p.m. nears, remember happy hours are a legal practice in South Carolina. You'll find a list of deals on our cheap cocktails map, or if you don't care about $3 vodkas, look for the new hot spots to grab a drink. When those libations turn on you, Eater also has plenty of help for the hangover, including egg sandwiches and coffee.

Need free wifi? We've got a map for that.

Need a dive bar to hide in? We definitely have a map for that.

Best of luck out there, and if you didn’t nab a pass, you can still hang out at the bar takeovers on Sunday and Monday. Enjoy and cheers.
