Two staples of the Upper King scene, Closed for Business and Monza, are closed this week due to structural issues at the restaurants’ addresses. A representative for the establishments tells Eater that a portion of the ceiling collapsed at Monza during off hours. No one was harmed as a result of the fall, but to ensure structural integrity and prevent future problems, both Monza and Closed for Business are shuttered this week to secure the ceiling.
Beer bar Closed for Business will be dark over the weekend, and will likely reopen on Monday, July 11. Pizza parlor Monza will probably be closed through next week, depending on how quickly contractors get through the job and the extent of any new damages found.
For updates on opening times, keep an eye here for when you’re allowed to order craft drafts at Closed for Business or dine on wood-fired creations at Monza.
