It’s almost go time for Le Farfalle co-owners Michael and Caitlin Toscano to greet patrons at their 15 Beaufain St. restaurant. Le Farfalle received an “A” approval from the S.C. Department of Health & Environmental Control, which means the crew can start cooking in the kitchen.
Toscano made a name for himself in NYC with restaurants like Perla, Montmartre, and Jeffrey's Grocery. Guests can expect a modern take on regional Italian fare, and they’ve promised to release the menu close to the opening, so it could be any day now. A previous email to subscribers stated, “We will have an extensive home made pasta section and feature as many local ingredients as possible.”
Le Farfalle also released earlier this year that is not a fine dining restaurant, but will have table cloths in the dining room — however, patrons should feel free to walk in right off the street, as they are.
