It's time for a weekly status update for upcoming Italian restaurant Le Farfalle. Construction crews are still at work, but the dining area seems to be shaping up into what will be the final stages soon. A pass by the 15 Beaufain St. space reveals a large bar area set up with chairs. If you remember the layout of the former Vickery's, this is where the large bar stood, and the adjacent room served as a dining room.

Once open, co-owners Michael and Caitlin Toscano will serve Italian fare in the Harleston Village neighborhood restaurant. Michael, former executive chef behind Perla, Montmartre, and Jeffrey's Grocery in New York City, will be in the kitchen, while wife Caitlin will run the front of house.

The restaurant previously predicted a June opening, but these timelines tend to shift when construction and permits are involved in taking over a previous dining room for another establishment.
