Rum, rum, rummy, rum

Just this morning, we danced visions of oxtail spring rolls and coconut rice before you, and now the official word has come through that Cane Rhum Bar & Caribbean Kitchen will open on Tuesday, August 2, at 4:00 p.m. The menu has changed slightly however from the initial release. The new list of offerings is slimmed down a bit — there’s still plenty of rum drinks and island-inspired fare from chef Paul Yellin.

Once the doors unlock, Cane will open Tuesday through Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, and Friday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Patrons can find boozy cocktails like the Instant Vacation and jumbo garlic prawns at 251 East Bay St. Here’s a look at the updated menus.

Check back in later this week for reports on initial buzz, photos of the dining room, and more.
