Lewis Barbecue opened last month to a big bang and a few lines, so it came up with a solution to get guests in and out even faster — order at the bar. While the new restaurant gets faster at serving up John Lewis’ brisket and other smoked goods, the staff wants to offer sandwiches and sides from the walk-up bar.
The reps from Lewis Barbecue say, “Though line times have decreased significantly since first opening, John understands that not everyone can/wants to wait in line so he's bringing the food straight to them.”
Feel free to now place orders at the bar for the El Sancho sandwich (pulled pork or chopped beef with hot guts sausage and pickled red onion) or brisket, pulled pork, hot guts, and turkey sandwiches, along with buttermilk potato salad, green bean salad, slaw, pinto beans, and green chile corn pudding.
The quick menu is now available at the bar from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
