Lower King staple Bull Street Gourmet & Market announced today that it will have a new chef, general manager, and hours this summer. Christopher Evans assumes the role of executive chef, and while the core menu of charcuterie, cheese, and sandwiches won't change, he will be in charge of the rotating dinner specials offered at the cafe. Evans previously worked at private clubs, including The Golf Club at Briar’s Creek on Johns Island and Florence Country Club.
Jason Williams joins Bull Street as the general manager. Williams last managed Virginia’s on King.
In addition to the new staff, the restaurant will stay open later than usual. The updated hours are daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
