The website for Radcliffborough restaurant The Westendorff declares "New Summer Menu Coming Soon," and with that updated menu will come a new chef. Post and Courier reported this morning that chef Blake Joyal worked his last shift at the eatery this past Sunday. Joyal joined The Westendorff at the end of October 2015 after founding chef Christopher "Ted" Jackson left.
According to the article, the new menu at The Westendorff "stresses mac-and-cheese and shrimp-and-grits, as opposed to the sweetbreads and razor clams favored by Joyal." Sounds like the restaurant may be going into upscale Southern diner mode for the summer.
