New York/San Francisco chef Danny Bowien visits the Lowcountry often to cook with buddy Sean Brock or drum shirtless at the Royal American, like one does while traveling. Now it seems that one of Bowien's protégés will make a premiere in the Holy City. Zach Swemle, former chef de cuisine alongside Angela Dimayuga at Mission Chinese Food and previous chef de cuisine at Mission Cantina, recently made a home in Charleston.

According to very reliable sources, Swemle, along with his partner Marlee Blodgett, hope to bring Neapolitan pizza to Charleston. Eater hears they are planning a mobile setup titled La Morra Pizzeria. The details are still coming in, but we're told to expect light, airy Margherita pies soon.
