Restaurateur Brooks Reitz invites 2015 Eater Young Gun Deuki Hong to cook a Korean feast at event space behind Leon's Oyster Shop, Oyster Shed, on June 29 at 6:30 p.m. Hong leads the kitchen at Korean barbecue hot spot Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong in NYC. The evening will feature Korean-style fried chicken, Korean fried rice, and banchan (Korean small plates served with rice).

The cost of the evening is $80, which includes the meal and a signed copy of Koreatown: A Cookbook Book by Hong and co-author Matt Rodbard. Couples who only want one book can purchase two tickets for $130. There will be a cash bar. Make reservations by emailing events.leons@gmail.com.

On June 30, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Hong will be in the kitchen at Little Jack's Tavern serving collaborative burgers with chef John Amato.
