By now, a bit of the Top Chef mania has worn off — perhaps you've been to a taping or a friend of a friend spotted the filming crew at Whole Foods. That doesn't mean we can't geek out on the judges' accounts of the Lowcountry.
Judge/celebrity chef Tom Colicchio hasn't Instagrammed since 2015, and his Twitter account keeps it political, but we've heard he's been spotted at Minero, Callie's Hot Little Biscuit, Xiao Bao Biscuit, The Belmont, and basically everywhere there's good food in this town.
Judge Gail Simmons loves to document her visits around the Holy City on Instagram —so much so, we're starting to suspect the Charleston Vistors Bureau may have paid her off (joke). She's been to Home Team BBQ, Glazed Gourmet, SeeWee Restaurant, Zero George, Husk, The Wreck, and Edmund's Oast.
And then there's top judge Padma Lakshmi. She has a more grueling filming schedule than the others, but she has been to Minero, Husk, The Wreck, and sampled Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. Her social media accounts don't give too much of her location away, but her Instagram does leave us with this gem. Hit play to marvel in the beauty that is Padma.
