The slick new sign at 132 A Spring St. declares that Eclectic Cafe & Vinyl should be ready to open any day now. A Craigslist ad for employees says the Cannonborough/Elliotborough addition will "offer a unique blend of vinyl records, beer, wine, high-end casual food, newspapers, magazines, and books."
City Paper tracked down owner Garrett Garnos last June and he told them, "I'm not a hipster. I'm just a farmer from South Dakota who loves records," in response to questions about the hipster-esque concept.
Recently, a few tweets leaked from the soft opening, and it appears Eclectic Cafe & Vinyl will be welcoming the public any day now.
