Earlier this month, vegan bakeshop Diggity Doughnuts announced it would sell its recipes to new owners while it left its permanent home behind. The updated residents of the 616 Meeting St. space will call the new shop Nana's Donuts.

Nana's posted a help wanted sign on the door at the bakery with a stipulation that vegans are preferred for the animal-product-free store to come. Alan Berger is the name listed for the contact. Berger also co-owns vegan restaurant Plant in Asheville.

Just in case any of you fine folks want to train with us while we break in the new owners!! #diggitydoughnuts #nanasdonuts
