The first concept from the Scarecrow & Co. row of restaurants on Ann Street opened this weekend. Wise Buck Smoked Meats puts out pulled pork, leg of lamb, liverwurst, and more in a casual, affordable environment.
Here, photographer Leslie McKellar toured the 40-seat interiors of Wise Buck Smoked Meats before the opening. Vintage taxidermy, funky camouflage wallpaper, and a large collection of Thermos canisters fill the space. The collective effect creates a hipster hunting lodge feeling, where guests don't have to track down their dinner, they just simply order from the chalkboard menu.
