MOUNT PLEASANT — Achtung, seafood lovers: it's Festa di Mare time at Mount Pleasant's Bacco. The week-long, semi-annual event sees chef Michael Scognamiglio temporarily scrap his tried-and-true menu in favor of seasonal delights, many of them from local waters. No tickets, no prix fixe, just a killer menu from May 10 to May 14. Bacco loyalists are known to make multiple trips as the menu morphs over the course of the week due to supply changes. Reservations are highly recommended, and gamberi ala limoncello is a must. [EaterWire]

HUB-WIDE — Veuve Clicquot hits the Lowcountry with a champagne pop-up tour on May 20 and 21. The first stop is the Pitt Street Bridge for a party with Charleston Wine + Food — which means plenty of bites to soak up the bubbles. Chefs Brannon Florie (The Granary), Kelly and Tony Chu (Aya), Jonathan Banta (The Atlantic Room), Katie Lorenzen-Smith (Tavern & Table), Marc Collins (Circa 1886), Jacob Schor (Rue de Jean), and Kevin Getzewich (Indaco) will be in attendance to plate up snacks. The evening starts at 5:00 p.m. on May 20 and the $125 tickets are available online. For other stops on the Veuve tour, visit [EaterWire]

EASTSIDE — The last time Bay Street Biergarten threw a themed brunch, the lines wrapped around the building before the restaurant even opened the doors. The crowds went crazy for DJ NattyHeavy and all the Backstreet Boys hits after a few mimosas. On May 15, for those looking to put the "Funday" in Sunday Funday, Bay Street hosts a Spice Girls-themed event. The party starts at 11:00 a.m. with a special brunch menu and specials on beer. Free entry. [EaterWire]
