Celebrity chef and Instagram mastermind Alton Brown has set up shop in Charleston to build out his "Eat Your Science" show at Gaillard Auditorium. The tour opens on April 6, 2016 with new songs, new standup, new opportunities for audience interaction, and new innovations.

Presumably Brown and crew are using their time to build giant Easy Bake Ovens and such, but yesterday he snuck out for a taste of the Lowcountry. While on tour, Brown takes suggestions from fans on his dining destinations. Followers can shout-out their favorite restaurants and coffee shops with the hashtag #ABRoadEatsCHS on Twitter.

To start his Charleston eating, Brown Instagrammed a photo from Wentworth Street newcomer The Rise Coffee Bar, and he concluded the day with a trip to fine dining Holy Grail McCrady's, stating "Apparently @hseanbrock has meadow faeries working the kitchen at @mccradys. #ABRoadEatsCHS"

Today, Brown's morning started with a saffron latte at Tricera Coffee. Be sure to tweet at the celebrity chef if you have suggestions for his next food move.
