Majestic New Windows at Cane Rhum Bar & Caribbean Kitchen

In order to create a tropical oasis atmosphere, there must be plenty of sunshine — which is probably why forthcoming Cane Rhum Bar & Caribbean Kitchen busted through the walls of the former Big John's Tavern to bring in some much needed natural light. Apparently, the original, pre-1884, structure at 251 East Bay St. housed windows, but the last tenant, Big John's, embraced the darkness.
