Last weekend, entrepreneur Taylor Grant announced he reopened the former jazz club Touch of Class as The Commodore. The new Eastside bar features a stage for live music, a disco ball, a dance floor, and cozy booths for sipping cocktails.
Early attendees have compared The Commodore to the former New Moulin Rouge on Rutledge Avenue.
The Commodore also launched an Instagram account to announce its arrival. The new establishment is located at 504 Meeting St. and opens from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
