North Central boxer bar Little Jack's Tavern welcomed the public for the first time over the weekend. The concept for a classic pub with updated favorites was expected to have burgers, steaks, and martinis — and the menus deliver. Before the opening, chef John Amato explained to Eater that he liked to think of the restaurant as an American tavern with refined, classic dishes or really, really good home cooking.
