Canary-hued addition to Lower King Turquoise Restaurant welcomed customers for the first time this past Sunday. The new eatery at 357 King St. serves traditional Turkish fare, like kebabs, haydari (yogurt dip), talas borek (lamb in puff pastry), baklava, and more. The dining room was packed with patrons yesterday afternoon.

Turquoise Restaurant opens seven days a week, from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Below is the posted menu.
