UPPER KING — On Friday, March 4, a trio of female bartenders will take over the bar at Proof. Mixologists Meaghan Dorman (Dear Irving and the Bennet in NYC), Caroline Smith-Adams (Voodoo in Charleston), and Charlotte Voisey (world brand ambassador for William Grant and Sons) will create tiki drinks for guests between 7:00 p.m. and midnight. Owner Craig Nelson was happy to announce, "This year the ladies have decided on a super un-Proof-like theme of tiki drinks!" It's first come, first serve to see what they come up with. [EaterWire]

UPPER KING — All the big name liquor representatives are hopping behind the bar at The Cocktail Club on Wednesday, March 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to pour drinks to benefit Lowcountry Street Grocery. The event "Kill the Liquor Reps" will feature $6 libations from Hallie Arnold of Breakthru Beverage, Sarah Martin of Dixie Vodka, Morgan Chapman of Advintage Distributing, and Sanders Monsees of Cathead Distillery. NOMO — Atlanta-based hot spot Kimball House will take over The Bower at Edmund's Oast on Saturday, March 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a special cocktail menu, an oyster bar, and other special bites from the restaurant named "Best New" by Southern Living in 2014. [Edmund's Oast]

UPPER KING — On Thursday, March 3, Jazz Age bar Prohibition hosts Diageo’s master of whiskey Douglas Kragel for a special whiskey dinner.
