This morning the James Beard Foundation released its list of semifinalists in the 2016 Restaurant and Chef Awards. Over the next month, this "long list" will be paired down. The winners of the Chef and Restaurant awards will be announced at the official James Beard Awards Gala on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Outstanding Chef: Sean Brock, Husk (Nashville)

Outstanding Service: Charleston Grill

Outstanding Wine Program: FIG

Best Chef: Southeast:
