Upscale/casual New American restaurant Congress is now open at 1035 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. The new Mount Pleasant eatery comes from food and beverage vets Mark and Adrienne Ciaburri, who settled into the Lowcountry after some time in Austin, Texas. The menu draws influences from their former Tex-Mex surroundings and Mark's Italian heritage. From one side of the globe, there's arancini with duck confit and pickled fennel; from the other side, there's short rib chili made with Austin-favorite Shiner Bock. Take a look at the whole menu here.
