It looks like downtown dwellers will be dining on rustic, family-recipe Greek food in the new year. Restaurateur Steven Niketas has stripped The Westendorff signage from 114 St. Philip St. and replaced it with logos for Greek eatery Stella’s. This new concept comes from Richmond, VA, where Niketas’ friends Johnny and Katrina Giavos, have ran another Stella’s with chef Stella Dikos, who opened the first version of the eatery in 1983.

Niketas says the transition from the former classic diner interiors to a more Greek restaurant look are going well. If you saw the dining room at The Westendorff, you know Niketas has a keen eye for decor.
