Find a Christmas Tree Full of 8,000 Macarons in Charlotte

On Tuesday, November 22, edible holiday decorations will take over The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte, as this year’s version of the hotel’s winter wonderland comes to life. The merriment includes the world’s largest croquembouche pastry tree featuring 1,700 French profiteroles and standing over ten feet tall, a larger-than-life holiday tree crafted with 8,000 hand-made macarons, and a 10-foot-tall gingerbread house. The macaron tree alone will require 170 hours of assembly from the hotel’s pastry team. The giant edible decorations will be joined by a a 17-foot sustainable holiday tree constructed completely of recycled green plastic soft drink bottles.

Access to The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte holiday extravaganza will be offered via the hotel Lobby front entrance, located at 201 East Trade St. The complimentary public visits will be offered between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily, through December 27.
