One platform of Mayor John Tecklenburg’s campaign was to rejuvenate the West Ashley area. As part of this commitment, he recently held a meeting of the West Ashley Revitalization Committee at forthcoming Frothy Beard Brewery expansion to be located at 1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.
Frothy Beard partner Wesley Donehue hopped on Facebook Live to share his excitement for having the Mayor in the house. “Hell, before we even open — we’re not going to be open for two-and-half or three months — we’ve already got all this free publicity from the news.” He also shows off the inside of the building, currently under construction.
Donehue also presides as CEO of creative agency Push Digital, which will have office spaces in the same building as Frothy Beard. In addition to those neighbors, food truck Zombie Bob’s Pizza will also have its first brick-and-mortar restaurant at the Sam Rittenberg address.
In the video, Donehue drops a early 2017 opening date, so keep an eye out for more details on when the doors unlock soon.
