Locally owned soup shop Ladles moved from its Calhoun Street storefront to a bit of an unusual location — a basement on Cannon Street. The relocated eatery sits at 68 Cannon St. under a historic home. Ladles has 12 locations across the country, and calls the Lowcountry homebase. The small restaurant serves a rotation of 400 soups.

Ladles opens Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To find the eatery, enter through the stairs on the side of the house.
