Chef Jeremiah Bacon showcases the beauty and bounty of Lowcountry waters in his restaurants The Macintosh and Oak Steakhouse. Now, he will share with the world his love for sea life with the recently released Reel Masters: Chefs Casting About with Timing & Grace. The new book from Susan Schadt Press with foreword by Peter Kaminsky features eight chefs sharing their love of fishing “in the bayous, backwaters and bays and along the coastlines of the sporting South.” The book offers reflections and recipes highlighting fresh catches from the culinary pros.

Bacon goes fishing at Sullivan’s Island, John Besh at Delacroix, LA, Walter Bundy at Chesapeake Bay, VA, John Currence at Port Sulphur, LA, Kelly English at Venice, LA, Chris Hastings at Lake Martin, AL, Donald Link at Toledo Bend Reservoir, LA, and Kevin Willmann at Pensacola, FL.

Bacon can be seen fishing on the cover the book.
