Remember that chef that said, “Charleston is like New Orleans but with a stick shoved up its ass”? Well, he’s coming to town on Friday, November 11. Oxford, Mississippi-based chef John Currence wants you to check out his new cookbook Big Bad Breakfast, so he’s cooking the morning meal for dinner at hip hangout The Daily.

From 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Currence will cook recipes from his new book for guests to enjoy. Tickets are not required to attend the event, but VIP tickets are available for $50 (purchase here), and includes a copy of Big Bad Breakfast, one of everything on the menu, and a “fast pass” access to cut the line when you get to The Daily

A portion of the proceeds benefit The Green Heart Project, Charleston’s community-based volunteer organization that integrates school farms as outdoor classrooms to educate students and volunteers about fresh, healthy, locally grown produce.
