The new kosher/vegetarian/vegan dining hall in the Sylvia Vlosky Yaschik Jewish Studies Center at College of Charleston will celebrate its grand opening on Sunday, January 10. The official name of the new eatery is the Dr. Martin Perlmutter Dining Facility, but staff at CofC have already dubbed it "Marty's Place" for short.

This fresh option for vegetarian/kosher dining isn't only for students — it's open to the public as well. The menu is full of meat-free options like a mezze platter, a build-your-own noodle bowl, veggie burgers, and more. There will also be a daily rotating entree selection. All of the regular offerings are under $9.00.

Marty's Place will open at 96 Wentworth St. on Monday through Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
