Anyone who has craved a Charleston Nasty from Hominy Grill on a Saturday or Sunday morning knows the consequences — if you really want to get that fried chicken biscuit covered in sausage gravy from chef Robert Stehling, you're going to have to battle the long lines of tourist waiting to get into the dining room.
However, now you can avoid those crowds looking to dine where Rachel Ray once skimped on the tip trying to get by on $40 a day in Charleston. Stehling's second eatery Chick's Fry House recently added the Charleston Nasty to the menu. That means from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, the Charleston Nasty can be yours without having to wait in the Rutledge Avenue line to get into Hominy.
Now on the menu: @HominyGrill classic - please give a round of applause for the infamous Charleston Nasty pic.twitter.com/ZPvnYq4hpJ
