RADCLIFFEBOROUGH — Intimate dinner counter The Westendorff hosts the first evening in its Alias dinner series on Wednesday, January 13, at 7:00 p.m. Guests will be seated above the dining room, in The Westendorff's special event space. For this week's menu, chef Blake Joyal channels New York chef Gabrielle Hamilton for an homage to her East Village cafe Prune. The six-course meal includes razor clams with paprika butter and hominy, sweetbreads in brown butter and capers, squab with parsley vinaigrette, and more. The $90 price tag includes wine pairings. Reserve a seat online. [EaterWire]

CANNONBOROUGH/ELLIOTBOROUGH — Chef Kevin Johnson and The Grocery want you to eat your vegetables this January. During the entire month, on Sundays and Tuesdays through Thursdays, guests can order anything from the Produce section of the menu for half off. Sweet potato tortellini, charred cauliflower, twice-cooked sunchokes, and more could be yours for a fraction of their normal price. [Facebook]

NOMO — Brisket master John Lewis teams up with Edmund's Oast chef Reid Henninger on January 27 to offer a special menu of "central Texas barbecue, Tex Mex cuisine, and Gulf Coast favorites." The chefs will collaborate to bring the one-night-only offerings to guests. Menu prices will vary, there are no specific seating times, and reservations are recommended. [Facebook]
