Check Out the Stunning Restoration at The Westendorff

A tour through the building at 114 St. Philip St.

Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

Radcliffeborough restaurant The Westendorff opened several weeks ago, but if you haven't visited, you should see the dazzling interiors. Owner Steven Niketas took great care to preserve and restore some of the original details of the historic building.

Niketas went to such lengths restoring 114 St. Philip St., the Historic Charleston Foundation presented him with a Robert N.S. and Patti Foos Whitelaw Founders Award in recognition of his work in the "rehabilitation and adaptive reuse" of the building.

Here, Eater photographer Emma Humphries explores The Westendorff and the private event spaces above the restaurant.
