EVENTWIRE — Supper club/philanthropic group Bad Bitches hosts their final event of the season on Sunday, September 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The organizers bill the denouement dinner as a "Southern Wedding," without much further explanation. Drop the $100 to see what they're up to with guests like Kristen Kish (Top Chef and 36 Hours), Michelle Weaver (Charleston Grill), Chelsey Conrad (Butcher & Bee), Amanda Click (Coastal Crust), and many more female culinary minds. The evening promises to be a Southern "wedding experience unlike any other." [EaterWire]

EVENTWIRE — The second annual Hogs for the Cause happens on October 3 at the Grove at Patriot's Point. If you haven't attended, it's basically a day of indulging in smoked pork, local beer, and good music, with all of the proceeds going to help families offset the costs associated with treatment of pediatric brain cancer. The event challenges professional and amateur pitmasters to cook up the best plate of barbecue for the guests. Home Team BBQ, Fox Bros. BBQ (Atlanta), Sweatman's, Swig & Swine, and Sticky Fingers will be in attendance. Ticket prices vary upon how much you care to eat or drink and are available online. [EaterWire]

HAPPY HOUR — From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, fine dining restaurant Circa 1886 offers $5 cocktails on the patio. Circa's outdoor seating rests on the grounds of the historic Wentworth Mansion, so the views alone are worth the price. Guests can also choose from $5 select wines. [EaterWire]
