Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

West Ashley's Ms. Rose's brought on a new hands to the kitchen last week. The southern eatery named Joe Wolfson, previously of barbecue food truck Smoke, executive chef and Charles Walton, from Park Cafe, sous chef.  Both Wolfson and Walton are tasked with revitalizing the menu at Ms. Rose's.

The changes will happen gradually, but the focus will remain seasonal and southern with a larger emphasis on vegetable-based plates.

The West Ashley restaurant opened in late 2012 to decent reviews. City Paper dubbed the chicken "bold and beautiful." Perhaps the fried bird will stay on the menu?
