Smokin' Hot Branding for Upcoming Lewis Barbecue

A taste of what's to come.

Meat master John Lewis gave Charleston a taste of what to expect from his forthcoming NoMo restaurant this past weekend at Revelry Brewing. The lines were down the block, but Lewis assures us there will bring a bigger pit and more staff next Saturday to keep the queue moving at a quicker pace — though, even those who waited two hours didn't complain after scoring a piece of succulent, smoky brisket.

Lewis and Revelry Brewing are hosting the #meatJohnLewis gatherings every Saturday during the summer to keep fans satisfied until his North Nassau Street spot is finished. Eager meat eaters can also further their obsession with a glimpse of the branding for Lewis Barbecue from creative agency Stitch. Designers at Stitch posted snippets of their work for the restaurant today, along with a tagline for Lewis stating, "Taking Care of Brisket."

Update: The Lewis Barbecue website is live as well.
