Menkoi Ramen House On a Temporary Shutter

No noodles today.

Just a few days short of its one-year anniversary, Menkoi Ramen House posted a sign in their door stating, "We are closed, Sorry for the inconvenience. Reopen soon under new management." Eater has reached out to see if the George Street address will reopen as a noodle shop or a new concept.

Menkoi was popular with college students and King Street drinkers seeking post-midnight carbs.

The 41B George St. has gone through several changes over the years, from a pizza chain to Patat Spot Friet & Falafal to Manny's Neighborhood Grill to the now-shuttered Menkoi. Keep an eye out to see if late-night ramen will still be an option in Charleston.
