Back in May, employees of bourbon hangout Boone's Bar told patrons that June 7 would be the final day for the establishment. Eater spoke with general manager Kain Slowikowski to confirm the closing, and he expressed his gratitude for the staff of Boone's. Imagine our surprise when walking past the 345 King St. address this past week, we noticed the bar was still in full swing. It seems a savior investor bought the bar from previous owner Bucky Parks. Parks explains the ordeal in a lengthy Facebook post here.
