EVENTWIRE — Hit up happy hour at Italian spot Indaco today for a pop-up art show from Dorothy Shain of Redux Contemporary Art Studios. The restaurant will put out complimentary snacks, display Shain's work, and offer discounts on drinks from 5 p.m. - 7p.m. A very artful way to kick off the weekend. [EaterWire]

BEER HERE — The latest “843 Series” from Palmetto Brewing is Huger Street Wheat IPA. This Wheat India Pale Ale is brewed with Chinook hops that are said to "introduce a unique aroma of confederate jasmine." The brewery is also offering limited quantities of A Session with Ed, a session beer named and created by brewery founder Ed Falkenstein. [EaterWire]

DINNERWIRE — Starting at noon in Sundays, newcomer Barony Tavern will offer family dinners for $24 a person. The Southern supper includes "fried chicken, red rice, stir-fry collard greens, smashed potatoes, squash casserole, and house-made biscuits with honey butter." [CP]
