Asian-influenced franchise restaurant Wok Box has plans to unleash six establishments on the Charleston area — the first being in Summerville at the Azalea Square Shopping Center in July.  As of now, the chain has locations in Arizona and Texas with plans for rapid expansion in Florida, Colorado, and South Carolina.

The menu at Wok Box pulls from the cuisines of Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Korea, China, Japan, India, Cambodia, and Vietnam. CEO Lawrence Eade says, "Wok Box brings authentic flavors from all across Asia into communities where these experiences are lacking. Charleston presents a great opportunity for Wok Box to expose a wide range of customers to high quality product in a fast casual environment."

A look at Yelp reviews from other locations, like Gilbert, AZ or Irving, TX are mixed. Some people love the noodles, while others call out the establishment for not being "authentic" enough.
