City Paper critic Eric Doksa comes right out and says it in the first paragraph, "Spero is where you should eat right now." He wastes no time applauding the works of co-owners Rob Laudicina and RJ Moody. Opened this past March, many people haven't thought to visit Spero yet, but Doksa probably just changed that with his winning review.
From mushroom agnolotti to trotter tots to pierogies, Doksa tries it all (and lets readers know they can order the entire menu for $90). His only drawback is the haphazard plating, but that doesn't stop him from quickly scarfing the evidence of anything on the plates.
With all of this enthusiastic praise, it sounds like Spero is about to pack the parking lot at 616 Meeting St.
