Verde Donates to Lowcountry Street Grocery; $5 Deals at Básico

HUB-WIDE — Mobile farmers' market Lowcountry Street Grocery is in the final week of their Kickstarter campaign with $7000 to go. To help them reach their goal, leafy greens shop Verde will donate $1 of every salad sold on Thursday, April 30 to the campaign. Both the downtown and Mount Pleasant locations will participate. LOWER KING — To raise funds for Rockers 4 Knockers and breast cancer research, Society Street's Christophe Artisan Chocolatier will host an evening of cheese, chocolate, and cocktail pairings. Local shop goat.sheep.cow. will provide the dairy, and Striped Pig Distillery will bring the booze.
