King Street Cafe Saint Alban Will Bring Back Dinner Service

Good news for late workers.

When Saint Alban came on the scene, it identified as an all-day cafe with doors open from 7 a.m. till 11 p.m., but switched hours a few weeks in (closing at 7 p.m.) to concentrate on daytime services. The quaint charms of the restaurant could only be experienced before the sun set. Now, it appears the team is readying to bring dinner back to 710 King St.

A Craigslist ad from the restaurant states, "Saint Alban All Day Café & Coffee Shop, the new project on Upper King from the same folks behind Leon's Oyster Shop, is opening for dinner and looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, and dynamic servers."

Co-owner Brooks Reitz confirmed that the cafe will stay open in the evenings, but did not specify a start date. Reitz also said they are currently working on the menu. Anyone watching Instagram may have noticed Saint Alban increased their lunch offerings last week, perhaps in anticipation of bringing some of the new items to the dinner hours.

Let us know if you notice the lights on at Saint Alban past 7 p.m.
