The structure at 1241 Harbor View Rd. will once again open as a Crew Carolina restaurant group concept. Crew Carolina purchased the address in 2008 and converted the popular Mimi's Cafe into the Boathouse on Ellis Creek, only to be struck by a fire months after opening. The latest resurrection of the restaurant will be Ellis Creek Fish Camp.

According to Facebook, Ellis Creek Fish Camp will be a "Seafood Restaurant," "Southern Restaurant," and "American Restaurant." In the "About" section, the James Creek eatery declares:

Coming soon! Located at the site of the old Boathouse Ellis Creek (formerly MiMi's) the casual camp-like setting will boast views of the marsh and creek!

The restaurant is currently hiring on Craigslist for a late May/early June opening.
